April 17th update: The Western States Championships and Turf War Duals are canceled for 2020 and are scheduled for June 13-19, 2021 for the following year.

April 7th update: After much discussion with Utah and the other Western States the West Regional Championships May 14-16 will be postponed. No future date is set as of now and we will wait to see if things open up in the future or not.

March 25th update: Unfortunately we will have to postpone our Utah Freestyle and Greco State Tournament. We are not canceling right now but only postponing. We are going to be looking for a later date this summer to host the Freestyle and Greco Roman State Championships as well as a few other spring 3 style tournaments. We don't have a timeline on this today but are going to be looking for dates. Most likely this will be the end of May or June. We will be looking to run 2-3 tournaments and then a state tournament. The West Regional tournament May 14-16 has not been canceled or postponed as of today. We also have the Western States Championships June 14-20 in Pocatello, Idaho.

March 24th update: No later than Monday, March 30th we will make a final decision on our Freestyle and Greco State Tournament and if we will be running that event or not.

March 23rd update: Due to the circumstances and uncertainty that comes with those circumstances we have decided to not send teams to the 14U and 16U National Duals in 2020.  These events take many months to plan and as we get closer and closer we felt we needed to make a decision so everyone can make plans accordingly. We will instead take teams to the Turf War Duals in Pocatello which are much closer and cost must less for families.

March 18th update: The US Open in Las Vegas April 21-26 has been postponed. USA Wrestling does have plans to reschedule but no date has been set yet. https://www.teamusa.org/USA-Wrestling/Features/2020/March/18/Postponement-of-US-Open-in-Las-Vegas.

The So/Central Little League State Tournament at Millard High School has also been canceled.

March 16th update: The Prestige 3 Style Tournament is now canceled, this event was supposed to be held on April 3-4 at Mountain Ridge High School. USA Wrestling has revoked all tournament sanctions through April 6th, 2020. If any event was previously sanctioned with USA Wrestling, that sanction is now revoked. https://www.teamusa.org/USA-Wrestling/Features/2020/March/16/USA-Wrestling-statement-on-sanctioned-and-national-events

March 14th update: Utah will not be sending teams (Elementary & Girls) to the Heartland Duals in Iowa. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes to the families and wrestlers that were planning to attend but we felt it was the best decision for all involved.

March 13th update: The Utah Summer Games on March 20-21 in Cedar City is canceled. The 3 Style Tournament on March 27-28 at North Summit is canceled. USA Wrestling has postponed the 2020 Olympic Trials on April 4-5 as well as the Girls Folkstyle Nationals on March 26th. Both the Olympic Trials and Girls Folkstyle Nationals will be rescheduled for a later date. We are still optimistic that we will get back to wrestling soon and our Utah State Championships is still scheduled for April 17-18.

Utah National Teams practice at UVU is canceled for the next two weeks and we hope to resume national team practices on Monday March 30th but will continue to update everyone as we know for sure. We will continue to come out with updates as quickly as we possible and will continue to update here.

March 12th update: Due to the ongoing threat of COVID-19 and under the recommendation of USA Wrestling, the Governor of Utah and many others, this weekend's tournaments (Syracuse and Mt. View) will be canceled. All those registered will be refunded fully by Trackwrestling.com.  Moving forward, the tournaments on March 20-21 will also be canceled (Fremont and Champions).  Until further information is received we recommend that all wrestling activities be suspended during this time.

The USA Wrestling Utah board of directors are further discussing the 2020 Spring Wrestling Season moving forward. We will proceed  under the guidance of our national governing body, USA Wrestling, as well as the guidance of our local health department.  We hope to have more information in the next few days as to the rest of the 2020 Spring wrestling season.
