132

1. River Wardle (Jr.) Wasatch

2. Riley Helt (Sr) Pine View

3. Dillon Dick (So.) Uintah

4. Mason Denton (Sr.) Fremont

5. Connor Ingram (Sr.) Juab

6. Triston Fillmore (Sr) South Sevier

7. Parker Frasure (Sr) Farmington

8. Brian Evans (Jr.) Beaver

9. Josh Millward (So.) Skyridge

10. Noah Roylance (Jr.) Wasatch

132 is super tough,  top to bottom, every wrestler at this weight has losses to someone else.  Ultimately it comes down heavily on how they finished.  Agree or not, what happens in February is what matters.  Atop the pile at this weight is River Wardle.  River has the best overall accolades,  his placement at Doc B and at RTOC hold a lot of sway.  Riley Helt at number 2 is the accumulation of a lot of work, most of it under the radar for most on the Wasatch Front.  He finished the season with a decisive win over Dillon Dick and then beat 4X champ Tyson Humphreys to avenge an early-season loss.  It'll be interesting to see Riley at the next level.  Dick is a Sophomore, just remember that.  He is uber-talented and we get to watch him for 2 more years. Mason Denton has provided Utah with some of the most  exciting wins in Utah over the last couple of years,  what is in store for the Silverwolf moving forward?

The Connor Ingram v Triston Fillmore saga added some flavor to the 3A race.  with the pair, trading wins over the season and Ingram coming out on top in Orem.  Fillmore came back the next Monday and put on a show against Parker Frasure who slots in at #7.  Bryan Evans, the 2A sensation could be ranked higher but has seen limited action against the other top wrestlers at 132.  Millward is a 2 finalist and will look to get over that hump next season and be a State Champion for the Falcons in 2021.  Roylance proved at Divisionals,  he can beat anyone in the State.  Hopefully, for the Wasps, Noah can get into a weight where he is the guy.

170

1. Jake Richardson (Sr.) Pleasant Grove

2. Tyler Scheurn (Sr.) N. Summit

3. Hayes Dalton (So) Emery

4.Andrew Jensen (So) Maple Mountain

5. Mark Rausch (Jr.) Mountain Ridge

6. Tucker Naccarato (Sr.) Payson

7. Dylan Swift (Sr) Uintah

8. Tate Willoughby (Jr) Delta

9. Radi Stafford (Jr) Mountain View

10. Brock Lloyd (Sr.) Wasatch

The top 2 are easy at 170,  after that it gets to be debatable.  Jake Richardson proved that he is the best at this weight.  The Keystone State native did a great job this season for the Vikings.  Is there a chance he stays in Utah for college?  I'd recruit him.  Tyler Scheurn is the clear cut #2 he is explosive and talented his 2A title and marquis wins over his career has cemented his place on this list.

Now the hard part begins,  Dalton ends the season with a title as a Sophomore, he holds wins over the prior #3 at this weight, John Whittaker, and place 3rd at the Rumble.  He had losses to the same out of state guys that others had, with similar scores and where he didn't meet them,  he did pout place them.  Andrew Jensen earned the top spot in the 5A  and has a long and proven history winning.  He is #4.  His DNP at the Rumble makes it hard to put him over Dalton.   Rausch took a big loss in the 5A quarters, otherwise, he might be higher on this list.  Mark is a tough wrestler and will look for #2 next year as a Jr.  Tucker Naccarato is one of those unfortunate situations, where injury mars an otherwise stellar season.  Hopefully, February was not the last time we will get to see Tucker on the Mat.  His accolades hold his place and outweigh the last half of his season.   Dylan Swift put it all together in his senior campaign and comes away with a title to show for it.  Tate Willoughby is another who slid in these polls due to injury in February. he wrestled on a bad knee and didn't end the season where he wanted.   He'll be back next year with something to prove.  Stafford is a guy who is hard to rank,  new to the weight, and won an important match against Brock Lloyd in the Semis.  Brock Lloyd had an up and down season,  he beat Rausch, Jensen, lost to Swift and Stafford,  not sure how healthy he was for any of it, but he ends his career as a 3-time placer and a finalist.
