ANALYSIS AND PREDICTIONS:

TEAMS: Spring Creek NV won last year, the northern Nevada school has similar firepower this year, Westlake and Farmington at full power could challenge.  But I think both fall short and the Spartans will be getting another set of singlets!

106: At this point, Christiansen looks to be the Utah favorite, but only by the slimmest of margins.  Fox, Kinne or Mortimer could all knock him off.  The unknown in Rindlisbacker and Newby might cause some issues,  but look for the Idaho guys to be tested.

113: Chase Milligan is a beast, He likely bonuses his way through.

120: With two Idaho state champs in the bracket,  Christiansen and Swalberg will have to step up big for the beehive state.

126: Finlinson and Carrillo are on a collision course,  but both will have to go through tough semi opponents in Aiden Harris and Kodis Campbell to get there. If they do, I have a biased pick of Carrillo to win a tight match.  Jeff will disagree.

132: Riley Fuchs is the favorite, but the storyline of the tournament at 132  surrounds Farmington’s Frasure back in action after injury.  Last year he battled injury all year to come back and take 3rd at state, what does this season hold in store?

138: Another stud from Spring Creek, Mogensen, should get through to the final, who from Utah could challenge?  May, Castro, Harrison with Holt from Thunder Ridge Idaho in the mix.

145: This weight is 100% up for grabs. Someone go take it!

152: Q Boyd is a Nevada State Champ.  If he gets past Trent Taylor in the semi should face Gillette fresh off an injury.  A Utahn wins this weight.

160:Utah does not win this weight, Beau Chacon is too tough.

170: This is another weight with excellent parity.  Allie is the Utah favorite.

182: Stafford could take home the crown for the bruins, but it will be far from easy.

195: Jefferson Guthrie from Spring Creek will give Jake Anderson of Farmington his toughest test of the year.  Can the Phoenix rise to the occasion?

220: Tafisi, Stockwell.  Stockwell, Tafisi. You tell me.

285: TOMASI SMASH!
