The Christmas Clash duals will be held at the legacy event center in Farmington, UT on January 3rd. Team Utah will be attending with 2 Elementary Teams, 2 Junior High Teams and 1 Girls team (8th grade and down). Wrestle offs for the team will take place with a new format this year. The #1 & #2 wrestler in each weight will be chosen (see below) and you can choose to challenge that wrestler for the spot. The challenging wrestler will have to challenge the #2 wrestler first, if they win that, then they have the option to challenge the #1 wrestler. If you decide to challenge for a spot you need to let Jade Rauser (Jaderauser175@gmail.com) know by November 27th.  The challenge will take place at the #1 or #2 wrestler's choice of location (hometown or UVU depending where they live). We encourage you to challenge for the spot if you feel you can win or want a chance for the spot, but we do not encourage you to challenge just to get extra matches.  If we have a spot open below, it means we don't have a clear #1 or #2, so we would have to have a wrestle off for anyone that signs up for that weight class on Dec 4th at 5:30pm in the UVU Wrestling Room. All wrestle offs need to weigh in at scratch weight.

If the wrestlers end up wrestling at the Turkey Tussle on November 30th, we will count that as the wrestle off. That will only count if the kids requested a wrestle off before hand. If they are in the same bracket but do not end up wrestling, we will still need to have a wrestle off.
