Information

Location: Western Sports Park (Farmington, UT)

February 5-6 , 2027

Important Items for 2027

  • Grade Participation
    • All wrestlers must wrestle in the grade they are in. Wrestlers can not wrestle in a higher grade than they are in at Youth Super State unless they are over the max weight for their age group

  • Mouthguards/Headgear
    • If you have braces you must wear a mouthguard

    • Headgear is not required

  • Athlete Residency Rule
    • No out of state wrestlers. This is for Utah residents ONLY.

  • Gender Selection and Double Bracketing
    • ALL GIRLS must register and sign up in the Girls division only. All BOYS must register and sign up in the Boys division.
    • Any wrestler signed up, can only wrestle in one bracket. There is no double bracketing allowed.
  • 9th Grader Rule
    • If a 9th Grader has competed at the high school level, they can ONLY participate in Youth Super State IF they do not qualify for their respective high school classification state tournament. Meaning: Only those that were eliminated from the state qualifications (Divisionals) are allowed to compete. If a 9th grader qualified (regardless of their season being done or not), they would not be eligible for this event.

  • Onsite Weigh-ins
    • All weigh ins will be conducted onsite. We will offer multiple weigh in options so you can weigh-in the same day as competition if you need. You will have the option to weigh in the night before or you can weigh in the same day if you don't want to come to the venue early. The Weigh-In Schedule is posted in the schedule tab.

    • Schools/Clubs are NOT ALLOWED to conduct their own Satellite Weigh-Ins. Wrestlers who fail to show up to their required weigh-in slots will be removed from the brackets without refund.

    • If your wrestler is seeded at the weight you've registered them for, they need to make that weight, otherwise they risk losing their seed. We will try to catch those, but cannot guarantee that all will be caught before bracketing.

Admissions

We will be selling admission tickets at the door for $10 for one day and $15 for two day.  3 and under are free.

If you want to sit in the corner and coach your athlete you must have a USA Wrestling Leader Card.  By having the USA Wrestling Leader card you get free admission as well.

Coaches pass

All coaches participating on the competition floor at the State Tournament must hold a current USA Wrestling Leader Membership. This requirement is in place to ensure a safe, professional, and consistent environment for all athletes and families. The Leader Membership verifies that each coach has completed background screening and SafeSport training and agrees to follow the established code of conduct set by USA Wrestling. These standards help protect wrestlers, promote positive behavior, and uphold the integrity of the State Tournament.

Benefits of the USA Wrestling Leader Membership:

  • Athlete Safety: Confirms completion of background checks and SafeSport training.

  • Professional Conduct: Establishes clear expectations for coach behavior and sportsmanship.

  • Consistency & Fairness: Ensures all teams follow the same requirements.

  • Insurance & Liability Protection: Provides coverage for coaches and events under USA Wrestling policies.

  • Event Integrity: Maintains nationally recognized standards for youth competition.

This policy applies to all coaches entering the competition floor and is required for participation at the State Tournament, as well as all national level tournaments.

Floor Pass

If you would like to be on the floor with your wrestler, you will need to purchase a floor pass for $30.  This grants you access to be on the floor but does not grant you access to dispute calls during a match.
