RJ Bingham has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for June 1st, 2017.

RJ “Bubba” Bingham is a senior at Mountain Crest High School. He will graduate this year. Wrestling is our families life.  He has been wrestling since he was 3.

His accomplishments are: 2017 5A State Champ wt 160; 2017 5A upper wt OW; 2017 Rumble Champ; 2017 Richardson Memorial Champ; 2015/2016 freestyle Vegas Champ, 2015 Folkstyle Champ; 2014 Super State Champ; 2016/2017 Team Captain for Mt Crest; 2016/17 season record of 54-3 with 39 pins. 

 He has always had his uncles and cousins help him with wrestling and looks up to them for advice in not only wrestling but in life. 

He also plays football.  He is a great help to his Uncle Rusty on the family farm.  He loves to hunt and loves anything outdoors.  He has an older sister and a younger sister and brother.  He also has 1 nephew.  He takes pride in carrying on the Lofthouse name in wrestling.  His family is a huge support system to him.  He hopes to follow in footsteps of his uncles and cousin. Family is very important to him.

 Leaves in July for a mission to Ghana Cape Coast.  He is planning on coming back from his mission to wrestle in college.
