Lane Peterson has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for the week of  March 3rd, 2017.

Lane Peterson wrestles for Devils Wresting in Moab, Utah. His mother signed him up for wrestling at age 5 as a way to burn off some extra energy. She had no idea how much wrestling would change his life and challenge him to be the best that he can be at anything he wants to try. Lane has found his own love for wrestling over the years and admits that wrestling is his favorite sport.  He also loves playing football, and baseball. Lane has worked hard for the goals and accomplishments that he has obtained. He chooses to wrestle for the Devils Junior High team to fill in an open spot on their dual team when needed, and often wrestles kids much older than himself just for the challenge. Lane is a great kid loved by all adults and sets a great example for all his friends.  He is a two time South Central State Champion, and recently took 1st place at Utah Super State.
