Hanks Jacobson has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for the week of  January 27th, 2017.

Hanks is 9 years old and in third grade. He's in a Portuguese immersion program at Rocky Mountain Elementary in Lindon. He loves to do anything outdoors and enjoys pretty much anything involving sport or competition. Wrestling is his favorite (at least between October and April). He's in his fourth wrestling season and is a second year intermediate. He's had "a blast" this season and has enjoyed traveling for wrestling from Spokane, WA to Denver, CO to Las Vegas, NV and home again. More than all else he loves the friends and coaches he's met through wrestling. He'd like to thank all of his wrestling partners, traveling family, and coaches especially Cole Kelley and Ethan Lofthouse with Mettle Wrestling.
