Box Elder will look to make a big push this year with 8 returning state placers!!!  Just to give you an idea Uintah returns 4 state placers, Maple Mountain returns 5, Payson returns 6 and Wasatch returns 8. Box Elder also returns 2 state champs and another (Riley Taylor) who will be the favorite at heavy. Only Wasatch returns that kind of firepower (who we assume will claim another state title). That is the good news.....The bad news is that Box Elder returns only 12 state qualifiers which is less than Uintah (13), Payson (13), Maple Mountain (15) and Wasatch (15). The other bad is the incoming freshman class is thin so the depth of the Bees could be a big question mark. 

It will be a lot of fun come February to see if the big 3 in Ricks, Hardy, and Taylor can carry the Bees past Uintah, Payson and Maple Mountain or if the depth of the other schools will come out victorious.
