Tanner Cox has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for May 4th, 2016.

Tanner Cox is a senior at Maple Mountain High School with a pretty impressive wrestling career thus far! He finished off his high school season as a 3x State Champion! Some highlights of this year were 2016 Rumble Champion, Uintah TOC Champion, 7th place at Reno TOC, and 2016 Greco and Freestyle State Champion.

Tanner definitely contributes his accomplishments to the efforts of many talented coaches who have helped him along the way! Coach LaMont and the entire Champions Wrestling Club have been like family and can't be thanked enough!

Tanner is now looking forward to wrestling at Utah Valley University and pursuing his collegiate wrestling goals! We are excited to keep him in Utah and continue watching his accomplishments! 

When Tanner isn't wrestling he enjoys mountain biking, hunting, camping, and hanging out with great friends!
