Carson Kay has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for July  17th, 2015.

Carson, recently returned from the USA Wrestling National School Boy Duals in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Carson went 7-0 in Greco and was named to the All-American team.  Carson also won the Utah Super State Championship this year.  He will be a freshman next year and wrestle for Maple Mountain High School.

Carson loves the outdoors, learning about survival skills, and is an avid fisherman.  He also loves good BBQ, classic rock, and muscle cars.  In the fall, you will find Carson on the football field, in the winter and spring on a wrestling mat and in the Summer wake surfing, and camping with his scout troop.  

Carson is a happy go lucky kid who enjoys making friends around the wrestling mats of Utah and is known for his sense of humor and quick wit.

Each week, wrestleutah.com will select two "Athletes of the Week." One for the PreK-9th grade age groups, and one for the high  school  and above  age group  which will include high  school , college, coaches and teams. The selection committee will consider and choose from nominees based upon performance within wrestling that week.
