Maddox Sumsion has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for April 8th, 2015.

Each week, wrestleutah.com will select two "Athletes of the Week." One for the PreK-9th grade age groups, and one for the high  school  and above  age group  which will include high  school , college, coaches and teams. The selection committee will consider and choose from nominees based upon performance within wrestling that week.

Maddox Sumsion 5 years old from Delta, Ut wrestling in the Pre K division.  This is his first year competing in tournaments and has a 15-4 record despite always being the smallest kid in his brackets. His most recent accomplishment was winning Little Leauge State.  He loves wrestling and everything about it especially learning new moves.  He is always asking when the Beehive Brawl is coming because he has his eyes set on winning the 36 lbs division in 2016.  Maddox is a good student, great big brother and is always a joy to be around.  His other interests are playing with his friends and cousins, riding his motorcycle, playing golf and hanging out with his grandparents.
