Trevor Cowan has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for March 25th, 2015.

Each week, wrestleutah.com will select two "Athletes of the Week." One for the PreK-9th grade age groups, and one for the high  school  and above  age group  which will include high  school , college, coaches and teams. The selection committee will consider and choose from nominees based upon performance within wrestling that week.

Trevor Cowan is 5 years old and a pre-kindergartner with only 4 losses this year. He loves wrestling,camping and playing with all his cousins. This is Trevor's second year wrestling and took 1st at Utah Super State, beating a kid in the semis that had two of his losses, and beating another kid in the finals that had his other two loses. Out of a 18 man bracket at state Trevor was the youngest kid and I believe the only Pre-K in his weight. Trevor is not afraid to talk to anyone and always has a smile on his face. You ask him what he likes most about wrestling and he says, "Knowing that if I keep practicing hard I will find a way to win."
