TJ Jensen has been named wrestleutah.com "Athlete of the Week" for November 12th, 2014.

Each week, wrestleutah.com will select two "Athletes of the Week." One for the PreK-9th grade age groups, and one for the high  school  and above  age group  which will include high  school , college, coaches and teams. The selection committee will consider and choose from nominees based upon performance within wrestling that week.


RJ was born in Saint George Utah at a solid 9 pounds he is currently in first grade and excelling very well he is currently reading at a 3rd 4th grade level. And enjoys going to church, science and making experiments.

 RJ will be going into his 2nd full wrestling season this year besides rec league. When RJ is asked what his goals in wrestling are he will tell you he wants to win 100 national, state and Olympic titles and with the work ethic he has he just might. At 5 years old RJ was doing 150-200 push ups everyday he has had no interest in any other sports except for those things that will make him a better wrestler Yoga and gymnastics being a couple of them. RJ won the 2014 super state title and so far this year has gone undefeated in all tournaments and won the 2014 Tour of America Royal crush and earned the Outstanding Wrestler Award in the Bantam division. 
When RJ is not wrestling he is very involved in our church but his main love is running around the house with swords and binoculars defending the house from ninjas. When he grows up he wants to be a wrestling coach and a pastor. He is a great kid who loves God loves his family and loves to wrestle!
